Yuanming Palace in Qingcheng Mountains

Yuanming Palace is a Taoist temple in Qingcheng Mountains. It was first built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and got its name from worshipping the Celestial Venerable Yuanming Daomu.
The Taoist temple is located in the gentle slope valley of Muyu Mountain, north of Zhangren Mountain in Qingcheng. There are four main halls in the palace: The first hall is the Hall of Lingzu, where the statue of Lingguan is enshrined. The second hall is the Hall of Laojun, where Taishang Laojun is worshipped. The third hall is the Hall of Doumu. Doumu is the Celestial Venerable Yuanming Daomu, the mother of the Big Dipper stars. In the back hall, the Three Officials of Heaven, Earth and Water are enshrined, as well as the Patriarchs Qiu, Lu and Chongyang of Quanzhen Taoism.

The surrounding area of the Taoist temple is lush with pine and bamboo, and the environment is quiet and secluded.
