Wenjingjiang Town Introduction

Wenjingjiang Town is located in the northwest of Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province, 68 kilometers away from Chengdu. The forest coverage rate of the whole town is over 95%. It is named after the Wenjing River, the mother river of Chongzhou City, which runs through the territory. Here, it is cool in summer and warm in winter. There are natural hot springs around Chengdu within its territory. It is rich in natural resources, has profound cultural resources, and the people are simple and honest.

There is a natural karst cave in Wenjingjiang Town. The height of the cave is over 100 meters and the width is more than 50 meters. There are many “landscape paintings” on the inner rock walls of the cave, which are actually the natural patterns of the rock walls themselves. This cave is a mountain crack after crustal changes. After hundreds of millions of years of weathering and calcification of magma, the “landscape painting” wonder has formed on the walls. There are also mother-and-child stones embedded in the walls. The large rocks contain countless small stones, with various strange shapes. The karst cave is relatively large in scale and is rare in the western Sichuan region. It is a great scenic spot for developing emerging tourism.
