Located in Tongji Town in the central-northern part of Pengzhou City, the Tongji Flower Sea Scenic Area is 28 kilometers away from Pengzhou City and 65 kilometers from Chengdu City. Known as Chengdu’s ‘Emtang’, it covers an area of over 800 acres. This thematic flower paradise integrates flower appreciation, outdoor family activities, and animal interaction. The commercial facilities for catering, entertainment, and leisure within the park are being improved and upgraded.
The park is equipped with a 5000 square meter intelligent greenhouse, hosting eight major themed flower exhibitions all year round, including tulip, ranunculus, and dahlia exhibitions. Over three million flowers of various colors are planted in the park, including more than 30 varieties such as tulips, ranunculus, white crystal chrysanthemums, pansies, snapdragons, foxgloves, sunflowers, columbines, centaurea, cornflowers, scabious, salvia, marigold,堆心菊, veronica, horse whip grass, zinnia, sunflowers, Iceland poppies, dwarf sulfur cosmos, Indian blanket flower, marigold, calendula, snake’s head thistle, and pinecone thistle.
Flowers bloom sequentially, creating a sea of blossoms that contrasts with the surrounding green mountains and the Jianjiang River Valley, presenting visitors with a picturesque landscape. The park is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to the park’s daily opening status.
Preferential Policies: Children under 1.2m (not including) enter the park for free with adult accompaniment; children between 1.2m and 1.4m can purchase preferential tickets. Elderly people aged 70 and above (including), active military personnel, disabled people, journalists, and tour guides with valid identification can enter for free. Residents of Tongji Town can purchase preferential tickets with valid identification. Elderly people aged 60-70 with valid identification can purchase preferential tickets. Students can purchase preferential tickets with a student ID.
