The Stele of King Wen of the Northern Zhou Dynasty and Cliffside Statues were erected in the first year of Emperor Min of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (557 AD). They are located in Dafo Village, Shanquan Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City. They are national key cultural relics protection units.
The Stele of King Wen of the Northern Zhou Dynasty is also known as the “Stele of King Wen of Zhou”. The Shifo Temple in Dafo Village was anciently called the Shrine or Temple of King Wen of Zhou. There are cliffside carvings in the temple. Among them, the “Fallen Rock from Heaven” is a giant single sandstone rock.
