The Concert Hall: A Shared Memory of Chengdu People for Over 20 Years

The concert hall has been a shared memory of Chengdu people for over 20 years.
The Central Ballet of China, Shanghai Ballet, China Nationalities Orchestra, Russian Imperial Ballet, Vienna Boys’ Choir, and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra have all performed here. Ballet dramas such as “The White-Haired Girl”, “The Red Detachment of Women”, “Silk Road Flower Rain”, “Swan Lake”, and the musical “Cats” have graced the stage of the concert hall. Lang Lang and Liu Shikun have also been invited to perform here.

In 2005, bringing together production forces like Sanbao and Guan Shan, the large-scale musical “The Golden Sands”, themed on the ancient Shu civilization and the Jinsha Site, made its debut at the Chengdu Art Center. It has created a brilliant cultural and tourism calling card for Chengdu.
