Taiyangwan Scenic Area is located within the Baishuihe National Nature Reserve of Longmen Mountains. With an altitude ranging from 1,100 to 4,200 meters and 76 kilometers away from downtown Chengdu, it is the location of a national forest park and a national geological park.
The scenic area has well-preserved vegetation and rich biodiversity. It has become a natural sightseeing resort with its unique topography and landforms, rich animal and plant resources, spectacular celestial phenomena, and profound ancient Shu culture.
The scenic area is divided into three parts: the low mountain area, the middle mountain area, and the high mountain area. It is a comprehensive scenic tourist area integrating sightseeing in the giant panda habitat, viewing rare animals and plants, enjoying alpine and canyon scenery, scientific research and outdoor sports, tracing the ancient Shu culture, and exploring the historical culture of Baoshan.
Opening hours: Open from 08:00 – 17:00 throughout the year.

Scenic area explanation: 100 yuan per time for groups of 10 people (inclusive) or less; 200 yuan per time for groups of 20 people (inclusive) or less; 10 yuan per person for groups of over 20 people.
Scenic area map: Scenic area maps are set up at the scenic area entrance, tourist center, and inside the scenic area, with marked tour routes for reference.
Internal transportation in the park: Reference price: 30 yuan per person. Free for children 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.3 meters (inclusive) in height.
Toilets: Toilets are available at the tourist center and inside the scenic area.
Vending machines: Vending machines are placed inside the scenic area, selling snacks, beverages, etc.
