Swan Lake, mostly silted up, forms shallow banks where lush green grass covers the ground. Surrounded by abundant aquatic plants, it is a favored habitat for swans to rest and breed, hence the name. However, as swans are migratory birds, their presence varies with the seasons, making sightings less frequent.
Located in the Rize Valley at an elevation of 2905 meters, Swan Lake is connected downstream to the Grass Lake. It is encircled by dense forests and thriving flora.
