Shu Yi Theater is located in the heart of Chengdu City, within the Wenshu Fang scenic area. The theater is dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique culture of Sichuan Opera. It aims to establish a new-style teahouse theater in old Chengdu, offering an immersive experience into the charm of Bashu’s performing arts. In the theater, audiences can enjoy not only the authentic Sichuan Opera face-changing performances but also a rich variety of high-quality programs that reflect the essence of Sichuan. While watching the performances, guests can also savor Sichuan’s traditional covered bowl tea and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Chinese traditional art and culture. The theater is open all year round from 10:00 to 21:00.
