Shenyang Sanhao Bridge is a steel arch tower cable-stayed bridge. It has won the ‘Eugene Figo Award’, one of the highest awards in global bridge design, and the Global Road Achievement Award in 2009.
The steel arch tower on the bridge weighs 1,800 tons. Shaped like lily petals, it is also known as the ‘butterfly wings’ spreading out over the Hunhe River.
