Shengji Mountain Introduction

Shengji Mountain is located 45 kilometers southwest of Faku, beside the Beijing-Shenyang Highway. The mountain has rolling peaks, stretching for several miles. The mountaintop is mostly rocky. The stones are huge in shape and strange in appearance. There are many trees on the mountain, including green pines, cypresses, weeping willows, poplars, purple locusts and yellow elms, forming a lush green world.
Shengji Mountain is famous in northern Liaoning for its numerous historical sites. After liberation, relevant departments unearthed more than 20 tombs here. In 1952, an octagonal mural tomb built with dressed stones was discovered here. The No. 7 Liao Dynasty tomb, an early noble tomb discovered in 1974, is also a precious and well-preserved tomb with rich cultural relics, which is rare in Northeast China. The epitaph records the life of Xiao Yi, providing valuable materials for the study of Liao history.

There are quite a lot of historical sites on Shengji Mountain, making it almost a specimen of a generation of history. This vast and boundless mountain is known for its long history and mystery. The ancient history and culture have become an eternal landscape here.
