The Qianfo Peace Pagoda was newly built in 1988. The pagoda is hexagonal, with a total of 11 floors. Its overall height is 21 meters, the height of the pagoda body is 15.2 meters, and it weighs 27 tons. There are 999 relief Buddha statues cast on the pagoda walls. Together with 1 bronze Buddha statue of Sakyamuni in the center of the ground floor, there are a total of 1,000 Buddha statues, hence the name Qianfo Pagoda. Overall, it is solemn, majestic, with a strong sense of three-dimensionality, adding charm and splendor to this millennium-old ancient temple.
