The Open-air Music Park is located in Jinniu District, Chengdu. It has facilities such as a main stage, landscape greening, sports facilities, water bodies, and lighting. It is an open-air music performance venue and a city music-themed park.
The largest single building in the park is the main stage, “Phoenix Spreading Its Wings”. Viewed from the air, the stage is just like a phoenix spreading its wings and soaring. The southwest corner stands upright, which is the lofty head of the phoenix, and the rest of the park forms the two wings of the phoenix.
The main stage is in a circular structure, closed on three sides and only open to the grass slope viewing area in the front. When large-scale concerts or music festivals are held, the sloping land facing the main stage will become the auditorium, which can accommodate nearly 40,000 people. In addition, there are multiple theaters scattered throughout the park.
Behind the main stage, there is a water feature shaped like a phoenix, semi-surrounding the main stage like an arm. This is the Water Theater. There is a musical fountain in the Water Theater. Along with the beautiful music rhythm, the musical fountain dances and changes in various ways.
The Stone Theater is a platform to showcase the ancient Shu civilization. Made of stone, it imitates ancient Shu cultural relics such as stoneware and stone figurines, creating a scene of “Night Banquet in Shu Palace”.
The Forest Theater is a small open-air theater. Planted with tall trees, it creates the effect of a “Forest Concert”, allowing people to get close to nature and enjoy it.
In the park, in addition to singing and listening to music, there are also places such as a five-a-side football field, an extreme sports ground, a basketball court, a coffee shop, a children’s playground, and a pet area. It is a good place for surrounding citizens to play and have fun.
