Long Yin Xia Plank Road – A Scenic and Historical Trail in Chengdu

Long Yin Xia Plank Road is located in the middle reaches of the Wulong Gully in the back mountain of Qingcheng, Chengdu. Constructed halfway up the mountain, it was an essential passage on the ancient Jinchuan Post Road. The current plank road, which is approximately 600 meters long, was reconstructed in recent years.

The plank road is built halfway up the mountain, closely following the cliffs. There are sections where the path extends over the sheer cliffs, making it an excellent spot for mountain viewing, sightseeing, and summer retreats.

You can enter the Wulong Square at the entrance of the gully and head north along the gully, passing by Lvfeng Pavilion, Haiman Pavilion, Ju Gong Pavilion, and Jin Wawa Beach to reach Long Yin Xia Plank Road. From here, you can also access another village in the back mountain of Qingcheng.

Open all year round, accessible 24/7.
