Lidu Park Introduction

Lidu Park is located at the urban entrance of Dujiangyan Scenic Area. Most tourists choose to enter the scenic area from this entrance.
There is a small hill with 42 steps in the park, which is Lidu. It is an isolated mound separated when Li Bing opened Baopingkou and chiseled Yulei Mountain back then.

There are attractions such as Fulongguan and Dujiangyan Museum in the park. Fulongguan is built on Lidu. Originally named Fanxian Hall, it was built in the Jin Dynasty. It was built to commemorate Fan Changsheng, the leader of Tianshi Tao in Qingcheng Mountain and the Marquis of Xishan, the Grand Master of Heaven and Earth in the Han Dynasty. It was renamed Fulongguan in the Song Dynasty. In the middle of the front hall of the temple, there is a stone statue of Li Bing, which is a cultural relic unearthed from the river when Anlan Cable Bridge was relocated and rebuilt in 1974. It was sculpted in the first year of Jianning in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 168) and was used as a hydrological marker at that time.

The Dujiangyan Museum is located in Huicui Palace in Lidu Park. Although there are not many exhibits in the museum, it can give you a profound understanding of the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project in a short time. You can come here before visiting the scenic area.

It is open from 08:30 to 17:30 throughout the year. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on the day.
