Jiuzhaigou Zhangzha Town is located 5.5 kilometers away from the scenic area. The 20,000 square meter living comprehensive experience center in Jiuzhaigou should embody inclusiveness in its culture, without emphasizing any particular culture. The Jiuzhaigou Magic Realism Experience Drama is based on the Jiuzhaigou mythological story ‘The Legend of Dage and Semu’ and is the first magic realism experience drama in China. It uses technology such as sound, light, and electricity to make the audience feel as if they are in the scene with the characters, entering a magical world with the actors. Ten thousand years ago, Dage, a brave young man reincarnated as a mountain god, and Semu, a mountain guardian deity, fell in love and, along with the Qing Deer, protected this beautiful land.
Act One: Sea and Sky – Ten thousand years ago in Jiuzhaigou, fish could fly in the sky, and birds could swim in the sea, forming a geographical wonder of mountains and seas interwoven.
Act Two: Skeleton Array – The area where tourists gather, summarizing the story and characters.
Act Three: Sacrifice to the Mountain God – Dage, the reincarnated young man, lights up the treasure mirror and becomes the chosen one.
Act Four: Spring Encounter – Dage and Semu meet and fall in love in a fantastical forest.
Act Five: Summer Love – Dage and Semu are in love, and the Black Magician, who also loves Semu, appears and causes disasters to get Semu.
Act Six: Autumn Departure – The Black Magician causes disasters to break out, with floods and fires destroying villages.
Act Seven: Winter Rebirth – For the greater love, Dage abandons his personal love, unites his spirits, defeats the Black Magician, and the fragments of the treasure mirror turn into 108 lakes in Jiuzhaigou, with Dage and Semu turning into Dage Mountain and Semu Mountain.
