It is said that the giant pandas in Jiuzhaigou like to wander, drink water and forage here. The giant pandas are regarded as auspicious animals by the local villagers. This is also a haizi (lake) with a relatively large number of fish in Jiuzhaigou, where you can observe alpine carp. The alpine carp is a cold-water fish in the mountains and grows very slowly, while it is difficult for other fish to survive here.
Walking to the end of the trestle on the north side of Panda Sea and slowly descending along a steep downward trestle ladder, you can see a rushing waterfall on the right flying straight down from the mouth of Panda Sea into the deep valley. On the way, it is intercepted by the protruding rock walls and boulders under the cliff into several sections. The several-tiered waterfalls are completed in one go. This waterfall is the Panda Sea Waterfall. In the depth of winter, the rushing water forms an ice waterfall, creating a magnificent ice crystal world.
