Apart from Tian, after crossing Fangning Bridge, you can reach the Patriarch Hall of Qingcheng Mountain. The Patriarch Hall was first built in the Jin Dynasty. The existing halls were built in the fourth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1865). Inside the hall, there are statues of Zhenwu the Great, Dongyue the Great, Lü Dongbin, and Zhang Sanfeng enshrined. It is said that this place was the hermitage of Taoists such as Xue Chang in the Tang Dynasty, Du Guangting at the end of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, Zhang Yu and Fei Yuangui in the Song Dynasty.
It is also the reading platform where Du Guangting used to study. Near the Patriarch Hall, there are buildings such as Wensheng Pavilion and Wendaoting Pavilion. Among them, Wensheng Pavilion was built by Feng Yuxiang. During the Anti-Japanese War, Feng Yuxiang lived here. When he heard the news of Japan’s surrender, he built this pavilion in commemoration. The opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 throughout the year.
