Huashuiwan Ice and Fire Rafting is located on the Chujiang River in Huashuiwan Town, Dayi County, Chengdu. During the rafting journey, you will pass through: Wanzi Valley, Ligou, Iron Cable Bridge, Chuanxikou, Jintai Corridor Bridge, Longtaitou, Lianghekou, Qinglonggang, Kuzhulin, Ice and Fire Gorge, Tea-Horse Cliff, Tucaogou, and finally reach Mopan Gorge. The annual average temperature is 5 – 8 degrees lower than that of downtown Chengdu. The vegetation is lush, and the original ecology is well protected.
The Ice and Fire Gorge is full of magnificent scenery. The river is filled with rising clouds and mists, and the weather changes unpredictably, which is rarely seen in the world. The content of negative oxygen ions in the air is rich, and it has the reputation of “natural oxygen bar”. The river water is crystal clear and meets the national first-class water standard. The shallow streams, deep valleys and gentle beaches in the river channel form a series of landscape paintings. The water temperature upstream of this section of the river is about 20 degrees Celsius, and the water temperature downstream is about 13 degrees Celsius. During the rafting, you can feel the ice and fire sensations of cold and hot. And after enjoying the extreme coolness, soak in the hot springs in Huashuiwan. Combining movement and stillness, feeling cold and hot, it is really a world of ice and fire.
