Hongsha Village’s Huaxiang Nongju Introduction

Huaxiang Nongju in Hongsha Village is located in Hongsha Village, Sansheng Sub-district Office, Jinjiang District. It is a national AAAA-level tourist scenic area with a flower planting base of more than 3,000 mu. The residential buildings are extremely rich in the characteristics of western Sichuan.
After successfully hosting the “First Sichuan Flower Expo” in 2003, it was officially opened to tourists. Huaxiang Nongju in Hongsha Village covers an area of more than 3,000 mu, with a core area of more than 1,500 mu. It is divided into the Sichuan-style bonsai area mainly with podocarpus macrophyllus and begonia, the high-quality potted flower area mainly with poinsettia, cockscomb, cyclamen and pineapple, the nursery stock planting area mainly with ginkgo, crape myrtle, camphor tree and metasequoia, the fresh cut flower area mainly with lily, gladiolus, chrysanthemum, etc.

The six major flower areas rely on each other and have their own characteristics. According to the changes of seasons, Huaxiang Nongju will carry out themed cultural activities during flower seasons in a timely manner, such as the Huaxiang Spring Outing Kite Festival, the Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition of Birds Singing and Flowers Blooming, the Chanting Meeting of Flower-related Poems, the National Fitness Trail Competition, the Flower Arrangement Art Performance, etc. It is an ideal place for middle-aged and elderly people to exercise and relax, for neighbors to gather together, and for families to go on spring outings and hikes.
