Hejiang Pavilion in Chengdu: A Place Full of History and Romance

Hejiang Pavilion, located at the confluence of the Fu River and the Nan River in Chengdu, was first built 1,200 years ago. It used to be the starting point for the sailing ships bound for the State of Wu in ancient times. The current pavilion was rebuilt in 1989.
Next to the pavilion is the Tingtao Square, an antique-style corridor. Inside, there is an inscription for Hejiang Pavilion written by the modern calligrapher Zhao Yunyu.

A few years ago, a love zebra crossing was specially built. It is said that if you walk across this zebra crossing, your future married life will be smooth and the two of you will grow old together.

There is also a small fountain nearby. Newlyweds often gather there to take pictures. At night, with the illumination of the lights, the scenery here becomes even more beautiful.

Opening hours: Open 24 hours a day throughout the year
