Guan Di Miao is located on the north side of the eastern section of Yingzhou Road (formerly known as East Street) in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. According to the record in ‘The Preface to the Inscription of the Newly Built Guan Di Temple Outside the West Side of Yixian, Fengtian Prefecture, Qing Dynasty’, this temple was funded by Shanxi Association in the eighth year of the Qing Qianlong period and was constructed to the right of the foundation of Chaoyang East Tower. It remains as one of the ceremonial architecture within Chaoyang City.
Guan Di Miao covers an area of 3900 square meters, featuring main structures such as the opera stage, Lingxing Gate, memorial archway, horse hall, ceremonial hall, Guan Di Hall, Medicine King Hall, God of Wealth Hall, and eastern and western side halls. Additionally, there are ancillary buildings including bell tower, drum tower, eastern and western side rooms, Buddha hall, and ear rooms. The temple also boasts three pairs of stone lions, a pair of stone flagpoles, seven stone tablets from the Qing Dynasty, and two stone sutra pillars. It is open to the public from 08:30 to 18:00 all year round.
