Fuhu Temple Introduction

Fuhu Temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty. The temple is hidden deep in the mountains and surrounded by towering trees. Now it is a quiet nunnery. There are not many tourists coming to Fuhu Temple. The environment here is extremely secluded, giving people a sense of being away from the secular world. Accommodation and meals are also provided in the temple.
During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, an Emei Military Training Corps for officers and non-commissioned officers was held here. The School of Liberal Arts and the School of Law of Sichuan University, which moved out to avoid the war, were once located here.
