Fenglinggu Forest Park is located in the south of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County, with a regional area of 2,583 hectares. It is located in the remaining veins of Changbai Mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides. The peak of Bamianwei is 1,288 meters high, which is one of the few peaks above 1,000 meters in Liaoning.
The scenic area was officially opened to the public in 2013. With excellent ecology, abundant streams, beautiful red leaves and convenient transportation, it is an ideal choice for red leaf sightseeing, summer vacation and leisure health preservation. Fenglinggu is a “pure land outside the world” away from the city.
The scenic area is located in a remote mountainous area and has long maintained an original ecological system. The forest coverage rate is as high as 98.75%. It was only after the opening of the Hegang-Dalian Expressway that this natural ecological treasure was presented to the world.
The scenic area has an excellent ecological environment. Wild plants under national protection, such as Huanren ginseng and Chinese yew, are distributed in the scenic area. Wild vegetables such as Aralia elata, Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa and Eleutherococcus senticosus are all over the forest. Rare plants such as wild kiwifruit and Magnolia sieboldii are widely distributed.
Fenglinggu is a “natural oxygen bar” for leisure health preservation. The climate in the scenic area is cool and pleasant. Every midsummer, most areas are extremely hot, but the average temperature in the scenic area is about 20°C and the humidity is about 65%.
The streams in the scenic area are abundant and clear. Under the thick green shade of trees, the small streams wind and meander, flowing gurglingly, sometimes forming waterfalls and sometimes forming pools. The water quality is clear and excellent, and can be drunk by scooping it up with hands.
The air in the scenic area is pure, with 30,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter, and is filled with plant essential oils emitted by flowers, plants and trees. Being in it makes people’s minds fresh, breathing smooth and in a good mood, and it is known as “a place suitable for breathing”.

1. Children under 1.3 meters (inclusive), the elderly over 70 years old, active-duty military personnel, and those who follow relevant national, provincial and municipal regulations (with valid certificates) are free of admission tickets, but need to purchase sightseeing bus tickets separately.
2. The elderly aged 60 – 69 enjoy a 20% discount on admission tickets (with ID cards) and can purchase them at the scenic area.
3. Minors over 1.3 meters – 18 years old (inclusive) and full-time undergraduate students and below enjoy half-price admission tickets (with student ID cards or ID cards) and can purchase them at the scenic area.
