Once immortalized by Du Fu’s verse ‘The flower path has never been swept for guests,’ the flower path now serves as a red-walled alleyway connecting the Du Fu Thatched Cottage Memorial Complex to the original Thatched Cottage Temple. At the end of the path stands the ‘Thatched Cottage Shadow Wall,’ one of the landmarks of the cottage, where many visitors take photographs as a memento. The site is open all year round, with full-day access.
