Dadeji Bathing Beach is located next to Haoyue Garden on Gulangyu Island. Descending the steps from the Dadeji sign on Guanhai Road, one finds a clean bay of sand and a pool of gray-green seawater.
The lush forest of Haoyue Garden is on the left, with the high-rise buildings of Xiamen and the Zhongzhai Bay Bridge almost within arm’s reach on the opposite side.
