Many say that every child should have a Week 8 in their lives! In today’s society, the traditional education from Monday to Friday and family education on weekends has fallen behind the growth needs of children. Children require more time and space for self-practice and independent growth, which is what Week 8 is all about. Chengdu Week 8 Town, established in 2008, has pioneered a new model of children’s entertainment and education, becoming the creator of children’s social role-playing themed parks.
Over eight years, it has brought the concept of Week 8 to families in cities such as Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Jinan, Linyi, Nanchang, and Xiamen, making it one of the largest children’s role-playing themed parks globally. Since 2009, it has been recognized as a popular parent-child travel destination, an indoor 3A-level scenic spot, and a national science education base. We have prepared a real plane from Eastern Airlines for Chengdu’s children, where they can experience the roles of flight attendants and stewards. Additionally, the Bank of China has specially customized bank cards, passbooks, checks, E-currency for children, which are identical to those used by their parents. Earnings from work in the town, in the form of E-currency wages, can be deposited in the bank and earn interest. Currently, there are only four such locations worldwide, and after Week 8 Town in Shanghai and Guangzhou, the fifth will be established in Chengdu! Opening hours are from January 1st to August 31st, 10:00-18:00; from September 1st to December 31st, open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-18:00; and closed on Mondays. Service facilities include a parking lot: [Week 8 Square Parking Lot] with a reference price of 10 yuan, located at Week 8 Square, with 500 spaces available. WiFi is available with the account: edayplaza and password: edayplaza888, covering the entire area. Restrooms are indicated with signs throughout the park.
