Chengdu Shiye Natural History Museum is located at the “Third Core of Chengdu” – 339 City Complex at the bridgehead of No. 2 Shuanglin Road, Chengdu. The exhibition area of the first phase is about 7,000 square meters. It is divided into six major areas: Beast Tribe, Species Paradise, Reptile Secret Realm, Animal Theater, China’s Two Treasures, and Gluttonous Hut. It covers more than 1,200 species and over 8,000 exhibits including animal specimens, live animals, cultural and creative arts, etc.
Opening hours: It is open from 10:00 – 18:00 throughout the year.
Preferential policies:
Children: Free for those under 1.2 meters (excluding) in height.
Military personnel: Free admission after registration and inspection with valid personal certificates.
Seniors: Free admission for senior visitors aged 60 and above after registration and inspection with valid personal certificates.
