Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Garden

The Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Garden is a hub for the essence of intangible cultural heritage from around the world. In August 2009, the Ministry of Culture officially established Chengdu as the permanent venue for the International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival, with the Expo Garden located in Chengdu. The Expo Garden features numerous exhibition halls showcasing material culture from various parts of the world, serving as a window into global cultures. Here, you can experience a wealth of intangible cultural heritage, including hand-drawn facial makeup, dynamic shadow puppetry, Wu Ji paper-cutting, woodblock New Year paintings, and dough figurines. The park also frequently hosts cultural and entertainment events.
Operational Hours: Open all year round, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-21:00; New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, 09:00-21:00.


Preferential Policies: Children: Free for those under 1.3 meters (not included); half-price for children between 1.3 meters (included) and 1.4 meters (included). Seniors: Half-price for those aged 60 (included) to 69 (included) with valid ID or senior preferential certificate.
