Chengdu Bird Forest Introduction

Chengdu Bird Forest is located within Tazishan Park. It is a large-scale ecological tourism project integrating bird domestication, breeding, viewing, performance, and popular science promotion.
There are more than 170 species and over 5,000 rare birds from all over the world gathered in the park. Thousands of birds fly and sing in chorus.


There are more than 30 scenic spots and service items, including the Rare Bird Garden, Ostrich Garden, Swan Lake, Wading Bird Lake, Longchuan Waterfall, Mandarin Duck Creek, Human-Bird Interaction Square, World of Birds of Prey, Children’s Happy Land, Tea Retreat, Chess and Card Square, Bird Rescue Center, etc.


Opening hours: It is open from 09:00 – 17:00 throughout the year.


Preferential policies:


Children: Free for those under 1.0 meter (excluding 1.0 meter) in height; Half price for those with a height of 1 meter (inclusive) – 1.2 meters (excluding).
