The Dry Cave is situated within the scenic area of Benxi Water Cave, spanning an impressive length of 300 meters. The cave is characterized by its undulating terrain and interconnected chambers, offering a labyrinthine experience with unique natural wonders at every turn. The cave’s ceiling and walls are adorned with stalactites that have developed along fissures, presenting a variety of shapes and forms that require no artificial touch to captivate the imagination, akin to a dragon’s palace in a fairyland.
Ancient wells, Dragon Pools, and the Hundred Steps Pond are among the many attractions that inspire visitors’ daydreams and leave them spellbound. On the left side, a ‘harbor’ is illuminated by lights, casting the cave’s features in an inverted reflection on the water’s surface. At the end of the cave, a deep, clear pool awaits, its depth unfathomable, with a chilling mist that sends a shiver down one’s spine.
