Ascending 2 Kilometers from Leiyin Temple to Chunyang Hall

Ascending approximately 2 kilometers from Leiyin Temple, one arrives at Chunyang Hall. Originally named Lv Xian Xingci, the hall was founded by Ming Dynasty’s Imperial Censor Wei He Ying. In the sixth year of Chongzhen’s reign (1633 AD), Sichuan’s Censor-in-chief Liu Zongxiang expanded and renovated it, renaming it to Chunyang Hall. Inside the hall, the statue of one of the Eight Immortals, Lu Dongbin, is enshrined. It is said that Lu Dongbin once came here to live in seclusion and practice. The opening hours are subject to the daily operational status.
