This is the first time in our province to interpret the history and culture of the Liao and Jin dynasties in the form of a themed cultural relics exhibition. It is also an exhibition in the history of the Liaoning Provincial Museum that features the largest number of Liao and Jin cultural relics, the largest number of first-class Liao and Jin cultural relics, and the largest number of borrowed Liao and Jin cultural relics from outside.
The exhibition is guided by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Publicity Department of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, sponsored by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Liaoning Provincial Cultural Heritage Bureau, and the Liaoning Provincial Public Cultural Service Center, and undertaken by the Liaoning Provincial Museum, the Capital Museum, the Hebei Museum, the Shanxi Museum, the Inner Mongolia Museum, the Jilin Provincial Museum, the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, and the Henan Museum. It is co-organized by 22 cultural and museum institutions inside and outside the province.
