The International Calligraphy Art Museum is located directly opposite the ShuZhuang Garden. It is a sea-viewing pavilion. The museum houses a collection of 407 works from five countries: China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia. Rich in cultural atmosphere, calligraphy art enthusiasts must not miss this place. Most of these works are selected from the 5th National Calligraphy Art Exhibition and the 8th International Calligraphy Art Exhibition in 2004, representing the high standards of calligraphy art both domestically and internationally.
Opening hours are from 08:15 to 17:45 all year round; from 08:15 to 18:15 for preferential policies.
Preferential policies for children/students: Half-price tickets are offered to young people (including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, etc.) aged between 6 years old (inclusive) and 18 years old (exclusive), as well as full-time university undergraduate and below students. When purchasing tickets, young people must present valid identification documents such as resident ID cards and student cards. Youth from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and other inbound tourists must present valid identification documents such as the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, the Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, and student cards.
Half-price for the elderly: Individuals aged between 60 years old (inclusive) and 65 years old (exclusive) can enjoy half-price tickets with valid identification. Those aged 65 years old (inclusive) and above can enter for free with valid identification.
Free for the disabled: Individuals with a Disability Certificate or a Disabled Military Certificate can enter for free.
Free for military personnel and martyrs’ families: Active and retired Chinese military personnel can enter for free with valid identification. Martyrs’ families, families of military personnel who died in service, and families of military personnel who died of illness can enter for free with the Certificate of Preferential Treatment for Martyrs, Families of Military Personnel who Died in Service, and Families of Military Personnel who Died of Illness.
Free for children: Children under 6 years old (exclusive) or with a height of 1.2 meters (inclusive) can enter for free.
Half-price for active military families: Families of active military personnel can enjoy half-price tickets with valid identification.
