Xingcheng Shuidiao Getou Hot Spring Hotel is located in the southeast of Xingcheng City on Hot Spring Street, just 3.5 kilometers away from the seaside bathing beach. Xingcheng boasts an abundant hot spring water reserve, with a total of 4 outlets and 12 springs, capable of yielding 3000 tons of water per day. The spring water is colorless, odorless, clear, and transparent, with a temperature of around 67 degrees Celsius, and is classified as a high-temperature weakly alkaline sodium chloride mineral spring.
It contains various minerals such as potassium, sodium, calcium, ammonium, sulfur, magnesium, and also includes a certain amount of radioactive elements radon and radium. The water is suitable for oral intake, flushing, and bathing. Xingcheng hot springs have been renowned since the Liao and Jin dynasties. During the Ming dynasty, a ‘Zhishuang Pavilion’ was built for the enjoyment of the nobility. In the Qing dynasty, separate male and female bathing pools were established within the Jintang Temple. The outdoor open-air hot spring area covers a comprehensive area of 1400 square meters, shaded by lush greenery and surrounded by blooming flowers and trees. Named after historical allusions and the functions of the pools, there are seven distinctive open-air hot spring pools including Tangwang Pool, Guifei Pool, Peach Blossom Pool, Ancient Soup Pool, Health Pool, and Tiandi Renhe Pool, all scattered and hidden among the scenery. Above the pools, fragrant winds linger and steam rises, offering a sense of relief from fatigue and annoyance, calming the spirit and soothing the mind when one is immersed in the warm and clear waters. It is said that entering the spring makes one forget all honor and disgrace, and leaving the bath brings a refreshed spirit and clear energy, as if one has arrived in a fairyland, forgetting to return.
