The Li Qiushi Memorial Hall is located within the county seat of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County and serves as a Party spirit education base for leading cadres in Benxi City.
The main hall is the Li Qiushi Memorial Hall, and there is also an Exhibition Hall of Historical Model Figures.
The Li Qiushi Memorial Hall covers an area of 771.46 square meters and has two exhibition halls. Taking Li Qiushi’s life story as the context, it displays 150 relevant pictures, 202 cultural relics, and restores 2 scenes, truthfully presenting some of Comrade Li Qiushi’s vivid and touching advanced deeds and noble qualities.
The Exhibition Hall of Historical Model Figures covers an area of 385.72 square meters and displays 58 relevant pictures and 86 cultural relics of 16 historical and model figures, indicating that Li Qiushi is a model figure who grew up in Huanren, a place full of outstanding people and numerous model figures.
In addition, the memorial hall also has a multi-functional lecture hall, two temporary exhibition rooms, and a temporary exhibition cabinet. It regularly plays some multimedia videos about Li Qiushi’s advanced deeds and Huanren’s history, and displays some calligraphy, painting works, and books praising Li Qiushi’s spirit and Huanren’s history.
The memorial hall consists of two parts, east and west, which are connected by a corridor on the north side. The overall layout is circular.
The appearance of the memorial hall is a square with a sloping roof, reflecting the architectural style of the Manchu nationality.
In the middle is the central square, and there is a yin-yang fish-shaped river in the square to reflect the cultural feature that Huanren County Seat is a Bagua City.
An artificial waterfall is built on the hillside on the east side, making the whole building full of dynamics and spirituality.
A large number of flowers, plants, and trees are planted around the memorial hall to achieve harmony and beauty between the park and the building.
