The Benxi Martyrs Memorial Hall, formerly known as the Benxi Martyrs Cemetery, is located on Qingsong Ridge in the eastern suburbs of Benxi City, covering an area of 60,000 square meters. It serves as a base for patriotism and national defense education in Benxi.
The memorial hall is divided into three functional areas: the landscape area, the tribute area, and the cemetery area.
The landscape area primarily consists of the mourning square, the poetry wall, the arms garden, the warning bell pavilion, the donation memorial wall, and the rest area.
The overall design is solemn and harmonious with nature, allowing visitors to cultivate their sentiments and purify their souls as they stroll through.
Upon entering the cemetery gate, one is greeted by the landscape area. Ascending the steps, one is struck by the sight of the mourning square, which is over 6,300 square meters in size, flat and paved with natural granite, adorned with patterns, and capable of accommodating 8,000 people for commemorative activities.
To the west of the square stands the poetry wall, featuring verses from revolutionary martyrs that are full of passion and fearlessness, adding a strong sense of national spirit and cultural atmosphere to the spacious square.
The opening hours and business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
