Wangxi Park, resembling a saddle, is a large-scale comprehensive park built in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. Upon climbing to the top, one can take in the panoramic views of the mountain city. The Taizi River runs through the city, hence the name ‘Wangxi Park’.
Inside the park, a variety of lush trees, pavilions, and towers are scattered at different levels, rare birds and animals stroll leisurely, and exotic flowers and plants bloom in vibrant colors.
The park features smaller gardens such as ‘Ji Fang Yuan’, ‘Liu Yuan’, and ‘Feng Hua Yuan’, showcasing splendid scenes. The ‘Lianxin Bridge’ spans across, symbolizing the locking of true feelings. The Swan Lake waters ripple with boats drifting, and the cranes and peacocks fly freely in their respective gardens, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance. It serves as an oasis within the city and a popular leisure destination for locals.
The park is open all year round from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
