The Benxi Geological Museum is located in the core area of the Benxi National Geological Park – Shuidong Scenic Area, and it is an essential part of the Benxi National Geological Park. The museum displays geological relics and prehistoric geological relics from the Benxi National Geological Park in Liaoning, with over 30 precious specimens and more than 3300 rare specimens. The museum’s geological collections are extensive, with many high-quality pieces, rich in scientific content, and they possess a strong local character and high ornamental and popular science value, making it another beautiful city card for Benxi. It is open all year round from 08:30 to 15:30.
