Guanshan Forest Grand Canyon Introduction

Guanshan Forest Grand Canyon is located in the southeast of Benxi County, Liaoning Province, with a total area of 1,139.3 hectares. The peak altitude is 1,118.9 meters and the forest coverage rate is 98.2%. The vegetation in the park is well-preserved, and the ecological community is primitive and natural. It is an ideal paradise integrating tourism, sightseeing, summer vacation and holiday.
The scenic area is divided into three major scenic areas: Longtan Shihe Scenic Area, Honghe Valley Scenic Area and Baimu Garden Scenic Area. Each scenic area is covered with dense shade, with strange and beautiful mountains, splashing waterfalls and pools, and the scenery is pleasant. In spring, rhododendrons are in full bloom all over the mountains, and the fragrance of magnolias floats in the sky; in summer, the mountains are green and the waters are clear, cool and pleasant, with lush pines and cypresses; in autumn, red and yellow leaves are floating, and wild fruits are everywhere; in winter, there are icebergs and snow lotuses, and the whole area is dressed in white. The scenery in the park is beautiful and unique throughout the four seasons, making people reluctant to leave.


Opening hours: It is open from 07:00 to 17:00 throughout the year.

Children: Free for children under 1.3 meters (inclusive) in height.


Seniors: Seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 69 (inclusive) can buy discounted tickets at the scenic area with valid ID cards; free for those over 70 years old (inclusive) with senior citizen cards.


Students: Students with student ID cards of undergraduate and below can buy discounted tickets at the scenic area.


Disabled people: Free for disabled people with valid disability certificates.


Military personnel: Free for military personnel with their own officer certificates.
