Yao Wang Mountain: A Historic and Scenic Gem in Shenyang, Liaoning

Yao Wang Mountain, originally known as Fuxing Mountain, has a rich history dating back over 1300 years. It was once the residence of the legendary medical sage Sun Simiao, who lived and passed away here, hence the name Yao Wang Mountain.
The scenic area boasts a vast forest area and favorable terrain, featuring century-old jujube and hawthorn forests. The mountain is covered with lush vegetation, shaded by green trees, and offers a serene and elegant environment with fresh air.


The mountain is home to various wild animals such as foxes, hares, and quails, and over a hundred species of precious traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. Surrounding the mountain, there are numerous orchards with nearly a hundred varieties of fruit trees, including apples, pears, grapes, dates, hawthorns, and mountain berries.


On the mountain, one can find the Yao Wang Temple, which dates back to the Sui Dynasty, along with the Mu Xiang Pavilion, Sheng Shui Spring, and Hu Xian Hall.


The scenic area is currently temporarily closed. The specific reopening time will be announced by the scenic area. The original opening time was all day.
