Liu Wenhui’s Former Residence Exhibition Hall

Liu Wenhui’s Former Residence Exhibition Hall, the former residence of General Liu Wenhui, consists of three courtyards and houses a collection of Liu Wenhui’s personal belongings, providing insights into his life from his youth, through his governance in Xikang, the Anti-Japanese War, and his eventual uprising.
Opening hours are from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round.


Preferential policies include:


Minors: Children under 16 years old (excluding 16) accompanied by parents can visit for free with a valid ID card or household registration book.


Elderly: Individuals aged 65 and above (including 65) with valid identification (ID card or senior citizen preferential certificate) enter for free.


Seniors aged 60 to 64 (including 60 but excluding 65) can enter for free during non-national holidays with valid identification (ID card or senior citizen preferential certificate).


Students: Entry with a valid student ID at half price; full-time national education students visiting in groups must be arranged in advance by the school and accompanied by a teacher, free of charge.


Disabled individuals: Entry with a disability certificate, free of charge.


Retired cadres: Entry with a retirement certificate, free of charge.


Military personnel: Active-duty soldiers with an officer’s certificate, free of charge.


Faculty: Chengdu special-grade teachers with a special-grade teacher’s honor certificate, free of charge.

Mobile phone charging is available at the Liu Wenhui Former Residence ticket office (for a fee).


Guided tours are available for 50 yuan per session.


Restrooms are located 10 meters to the right upon entering Liu Wenhui’s Former Residence.


One mother and baby room is also available at the same location.


Important tips: Minors, elderly individuals with mobility issues, and severely disabled individuals must be accompanied by a healthy adult family member.


Smoking and pets are prohibited inside the museum.
