Wanfo Ding, approximately 5 kilometers away from the Golden Summit, stands at an elevation of 3099 meters, surrounded by pristine forests. It is a solitary peak towering above the high cliffs, with numerous mountains encircling it as if paying homage to Buddha, and the base is covered with lush, original forests. Wanfo Ding features attractions such as Wanfo Pavilion, alpine rhododendron forest, Black Bear Gully, and Immortal’s Return.
The Wanfo Pavilion, standing 21 meters tall, is majestic and solemn, with the ‘Wishing Ancient Bell’ hanging from the roof, exuding a sense of solemnity and majesty. The scenic area preserves its original landscape well, and the scenery varies with each season. Due to various reasons, the track sightseeing train from the Golden Summit to Wanfo Ding is temporarily closed, and the scenic area is not open to the public. Some tourists may walk along the track to enjoy the magnificent views, but this is extremely dangerous! It is not recommended to visit in this manner. Tourists can now look at Wanfo Ding from the Golden Summit. The scenic area is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
