Yaochi is located within the Jiuzhaigou Fairy Pool Scenic Area, celebrated in poetry as ‘blue skies, white clouds, and gentle breezes amidst forests, grasslands, and clear waters’. Its exquisite form, crystal-clear lake water, is akin to a gemstone set on a natural emerald carpet, leaving visitors enchanted and reluctant to leave.
The scenery of the Fairy Pool typically features a pond connected to a waterfall, with ponds existing wherever there are waterfalls. On the Jinyin Beach, Yaochi is composed of several calcium pools of varying sizes, interconnected in a meandering pattern.
