Emeishan Museum: A Glimpse into the Evolution of Geology and Paleontology

Emeishan Museum is located at the foot of the mountain, not far from Baoguo Temple. It showcases a variety of ancient biological specimens unearthed in the local area. Particularly striking is a large dinosaur specimen, along with dinosaur eggs, which demonstrate the geological and topographical evolution of Emeishan. The museum is open from 09:00 to 17:30 from July 1st to August 31st; from 09:00 to 17:00 from September 1st to June 30th. On New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Labor Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the museum extends its opening hours until 17:30 PM. Please note that the specific business status is subject to the daily opening conditions.
