Shengshui Pavilion is located at the foot of Huangmao Peak in Emei Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, it was called Shenshui Nunnery and is well-known for the Yuye Spring in front of the pavilion. The existing Sanhe small courtyard has a construction area of 876 square meters. The spring gushes out from under the rock, extremely clear, and never dries up throughout the year. It is commonly known as Shenshui. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736 – 1795), it was renamed to its current name.
