Red Panda Forest Park in Sichuan is a key national research and breeding center dedicated to the protection, management, and scientific research of the red panda, a nationally protected wild animal. It is a scientific and educational theme park in the western region, themed around the red panda, with distinctive features of wildlife exploration, educational entertainment, and growth companionship.
The project, invested and developed by Sichuan Qi Qu Zoo Management Co., Ltd., has a total investment of over 20 million yuan, covering an area of more than 70 mu, with the first phase covering more than 20 mu. It consists of six major sections: the Red Panda Wild Release Exploration Park, the Red Panda Research and Breeding Isolation Pavilion, the Red Panda Behavioral Desensitization Training Camp, the Red Panda Family Life Exhibition Area, the Red Panda Outdoor Educational Park, and the Red Panda Theme Leisure Restaurant.
Red Panda Forest Park boasts a team of professional breeders, researchers, and medical technicians in the industry and has established cooperative research relationships with the China Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center and Sichuan Agricultural University. On the path to becoming a red panda breeding research center, the park innovates by introducing a new experience model, ‘Make a Friend with Red Pandas,’ and incubates a unique experience product that integrates ‘exploration, learning, and recognition.’ This effort aims to gradually build Red Panda Forest Park into a nationally renowned scientific and educational theme park for red pandas.
