The Dharma Hall, also known as the Medicine Master Hall, is a place for ordination and Buddhist lectures in Wenshu Yuan.
The hall is a double-eaved hip-and-gable style building, 12.60 meters high. It was first built in the 36th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1697 AD) and expanded in the 12th year of Emperor Jiaqing (1807 AD).
Above the center in the hall are enshrined the statues of the Medicine Master Buddha and the twelve generals of yaksha made of gossamer. On the left and right are enshrined the statues of the Eighteen Arhats, the Eighteen Guardians of the Sangha, and the Twenty-four Heavenly Gods.
It is open from 08:00 to 17:00 throughout the year. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on the day.
