Baoshan Tourist Scenic Area is located in Baoshan Village, Longmenshan Town, Pengzhou City. It is divided into three major areas: Baoshan Hot Spring Resort, Baoshan Rural Tourist Area, and Taiyangwan Scenic Area.
In spring, you can enjoy roses; in summer, it’s a great place to escape the heat; in autumn, you can admire red leaves; and in winter, you can enjoy snow and soak in hot springs. Here, you can also enjoy different sports. The golf course and go-kart track can give you a different kind of leisure experience.
Taiyang Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Chengdu, within the national geological park and national nature reserve. The altitude ranges from 1,100 to 4,200 meters. It is divided into three parts: the low mountain area, the middle mountain area, and the high mountain area. It is a comprehensive scenic tourist area integrating giant panda habitat sightseeing, rare plant and animal viewing, alpine and canyon scenery, scientific research and outdoor sports, exploration of ancient Shu culture, and Baoshan’s historical culture.
Baoshan Hot Spring Resort is located on the Longmenshan giant nappe tectonic fracture zone. The water volume is rich and the pressure is huge. The hot spring well is 2,500 meters deep and the water temperature reaches above 45 degrees Celsius. Relying on the resources of Baoshan Hot Spring, Baoshan Hot Spring Resort has developed projects such as Tianbao Hot Spring Hotel, Baoshan Hot Spring Hotel, Xianquan Mountain Foot Hot Spring Hotel, Baoshan International Country Club, and Riverside Rest Area.
