Qinglong Lake is located within the Shiling Scenic Area of Longquanyi District, Chengdu. With a total planned area of over 10,000 mu, it is one of the “Six Reservoirs and Eight Areas” in Chengdu’s Ring City Ecological Area. Among the numerous wetland parks in Chengdu, it is regarded as an upgraded version of the ring city ecological area.
It features beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons: “In spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom; in summer, the lotus leaves stretch as far as the eye can see; in autumn, the colors are colorful; in winter, the plum blossoms brave the snow.”
The first-phase project covers an area of approximately 4,700 mu and has been opened to the public. The first-phase project has actively explored and carried out ecological practices in aspects such as ecological restoration, nature protection, and cultural inheritance. It has basically achieved the composite functions of “ecology, people’s livelihood, and tourism”, presenting an ecological and cultural landscape of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and has become a popular destination for tourists to get close to water and enjoy the scenery.
