Jiulong Town is located in the northwest of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It borders Dongbei Town to the southeast, Wudu Town to the northeast, Tianchi Township to the north, and Jinhua Town to the west. It is approximately 6.5 kilometers away from the urban area of Mianyang. The town spans an area of about 53.6 square kilometers, characterized as a semi-mountainous and semi-plain town, with the mountainous area accounting for two-thirds of the total.
Today, Jiulong Town boasts the picturesque Jiulong Mountain Tourism Scenic Area and the bustling Pear Blossom Festival, among other distinctive tourist attractions.
